Get started in 5 Easy Steps.
Install the Chrome Extension, and set up or log in to your Trello account
Choose a website to track bugs and connect to your Trello Board and Trello List in Tracey’s settings.
Click the Bug Icon on the bottom right-hand corner and click the area you want to capture
Enter a description of the issue in the pop-up window and watch it automagically appear in your Trello Board along with a marker showing the exact location of the issue and data like browser version, screen resolution, and more!
Using the power of Trello you can work by yourself or in a team to manage tasks on your website project. Assign tasks to other team members and visually track what’s going on.

Tracey is a visual bug reporting tool for the web. You visually pinpoint the issue/task/bug in the browser and then manage the issue using Trello.
Web Developers mostly but also Content Creators, Editors, Website Designers, Figma designers, Canva designers, Software Developers, QA Testers, Digital Agencies and anyone working on anything inside a Web Browser (Chrome).
Tracey is a fictional character who likes to capture bugs and send them to Trello Jail. NO MERCY FOR BUGS!
It sure can, anything Trello will integrate with by default Tracey does too.
We are a group of web developers and have tried various bug reporting tools like BugHerd, Jira, and Marker.io.
Where they fall down is in the issue management area where Trello excels. Bugherd and Jira are quite pricey too. Tracey is very good value for the work she does and the risks she takes putting bugs behind bars.
It’s pretty easy although it helps if you have used Trello before. No problems if you haven’t, it’s easy to use too!
Install the Chrome Extension
Click on the settings icon and click LOGIN and connect to your Trello Account
If you don’t have a Trello account already head over here and set one up
Setup a list called “Backlog” all issues will be added to this list. How you want to manage your bugs after that is up to you.
We prefer the tried and tested method of Backlog, Doing, Done.
Go to the website you want to report bugs/issues/tasks and sync with the Trello Board you have created. E.G let’s say I am finding and adding bugs on a website for my client “Joes Pizza.” I sync the website to the Trello board I have just created in the settings panel
Make sure Tracey is on duty in the settings and start visually reporting bugs by clicking the gun icon then clicking on the area of the page where the issue is.
Enter the details of the issue and click save. You will now see the issue in your Trello board with a screengrab of the location of the issue
You can now assign this issue to other team members on your Trello board or if you are working solo – just keep them there for later on.
Trello is a Kanban board system. That doesn’t tell you much so look here for a quick overview video. Trello is awesome. The power of Trello is in its simplicity.
